In addition to choosing proper hubs, spokes, rims and nipples, spoke count and lacing pattern must be carefully considered. Holland 1330 One of our lightest hand built configurations, Holland 1330s are a fantastic set of climbing wheels and are popular among our clients conquering mountains in San Diego’s East County and beyond. Because of the 1330s’ relative compliance, they are also gaining popularity among the double century set. |

Holland 1490 These wheels get rave reviews for their balance of weight and stiffness. Holland 1490s are great climbers that also perform on the descents. These are an excellent all-around choice, particularly if you are limited to a single set of wheels for your bike. |

Shimano Dura Ace C24 Dura Ace smooth hubs combined with a remarkable carbon laminated aluminum rims makes for a terrific performing wheel set. The carbon laminate rim is stiffer than would be possible in an aluminum rim, while benefiting from aluminum’s excellent braking performance. Traditional cup and cone hub design means these hubs are super smooth, with low rolling resistance and are easy to service -all this in a lightweight reliable wheel. |

We hand tension all of our Reynolds wheels to ensure maximum reliability.
